Types of translation

We use authorized or other highly qualified translators for legal translations, and we can handle the process of getting your documents notarized by the Notary Public and/or legalized by the County Governor. 

We can provide legal translations on relatively short notice to many different languages, including most Western languages and several non-Western languages.

We have very strict confidentiality policies, and all documents are treated as confidential. All of our translators have signed a declaration of confidentiality.

We use authorized or other highly qualified translators with experience with medical terminology. We handle several different types of documents, including discharge summaries, test results, medical brochures, etc. All documents are treated as confidential.

We can provide medical translations on relatively short notice to many different languages, including most Western languages and several non-Western languages.

Technical translations require that the translator has experience from and specialized knowledge of both the two languages involved and the discipline in question. We have several highly skilled technical translators with competence from various disciplines, including IT, civil engineering, maritime industries, chemistry, and physics. We have also established a strong international network that makes it possible for us to offer translations between two foreign languages.

Government authorized translators have passed the demanding and internationally renowned national translator accreditation exam at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). This exam emphasizes financial and administrative, legal, and technical translation.

The Ministry of Education and Research authorized NHH to issue translator’s licences, and accredited translators with a licence from NHH are therefore authorized to certify the accuracy of their own translations. All translations prepared for the purpose of presenting them to authorities in other countries normally require certification by a government authorized translator.

We translate diplomas and certificates of any kind to and from most languages, and we are usually able to deliver on relatively short notice.

Examples of this category of documents include: birth certificates, marriage certificates, certificates of divorce, diplomas, certificates of name change, etc.
